A 100 level philosophy student of Kogi State University, KSU, Rebecca Michael, has committed suicide after her boyfriend broke up with her.
Reports say the deceased allegedly consumed a poisonous substance at her hostel in Lokoja. This occurred after her boyfriend, DJ Caleb Abalaka aka DJ Aka, ended their relationship by telling her he was no longer interested in her.
Rebecca was found on pains by her friends who rushed her to the Federal Medical Centre. Unfortunately, she gave up the ghost and her remains have since been buried at Lokongoma cemetery.
Her boyfriend is yet to react to the unfortunate incident.
