Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour has won the contest as the Parliamentary Candidate For Asante Akyem South Constituency.
Obour contested with three other people including the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng, who has served two terms on the ticket of the NPP.
Obour emerged as the winner with 417 votes representing 65% of the total votes casted.
Recall, ever since Obour declared his intentions of contesting as a parliamentarian on the ticket of the NPP party some political figures threw their weight behind him.
Whilst some of the popular celebrities campaigned against him.
