The FCT Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Gift Abiikor, a 17-year-old student of Federal Government College in Rubochi, Abuja.
FCT’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Anjuguri Manzah revealed that the student was abducted by unknown persons in the early hours of Tuesday January 28.
It was gathered that FCT’s Commissioner of Police, CP Bala Ciroma has already ordered an investigation into the abduction.
The statement read in parts;
“According to one Ahmed Adamu, who reported the incident to the police, some armed men stormed his house at about 0100hrs and abducted Gift Abiikor while asleep in the same bed with his children.
“The unfortunate incident happened at the residence of Ahmed Adamu, which is outside the premises of Federal Government College Rubochi.”
