On Monday afternoon, it was officially announced that the South African Government has issued warrant of arrest for the escaped Prophet Shepheard Bushiri and his wife, Mary.
Starting from Sunday night, 15th of November, the founder of Enlightened Christian Gathering church and his wife confirmed that they have left SA as their safety wasn’t promised.
The couple went on to requesting 5 things from the SA Government to aid their return and clear their innocence.
A week after receiving bail of a collective R400 000 the couple fled to Malawi, which is the Shepherd’s home country.
The National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa said it would bring an application in terms of the Criminal Procedure Act for a warrant of arrest for fugitives Shepherd and Mary Bushiri.
