Chima Obineche of Ogbe-Aku in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, who was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force in Imo State, says he’s 38 years old and single without a child.
Obineche who claims he regrets joining the ESN, told newsmen he has gained nothing ever since he joined the security outfit, saying Nnamdi Kanu is abroad with his wife, children, and girlfriend instead of co-operating.
In a viral video on May 31, 2021, posted by Vanguard News, the said Chima was being questioned by the Nigerian Police Force about his alleged involvement in multiple attacks on prisons and police headquarters in Imo State.
He named the following people as the Eastern Security Network’s leaders; “Ikonso, Temple, Onye-Army, Dragon, Iron, Ikuku, Akamonu, and others. He said he was arrested because he’s a member of the Eastern Security Network and part of the unknown gunmen terrorizing the State and killing security operatives and destroying Police Stations.
He said he was trained at Uguta Camp to join the Eastern Security Network, he said they were 60 of them who were trained at the camp in March 2021.
He said while they were at the camp, the people he mentioned came with different kinds of vehicles, which they use in going to attack the Police Station and prison in Imo State.
That the leaders he mentioned, came with guns while they were given cutlasses and were told they’re going for a crusade
