Lil Dicky announced new music with Justin Bieber last week and now he drops “Earth“ and its official music video.
The Pennsylvania rapper started leaking information about his track in a series of Instagram videos this week. In the first he says:
“Hi. I think I have to start talking to you guys about this new song and video I’m putting out this week because I’m so excited. I’ve really never been this excited for anything in my life. I have so many things I want to tell you, but I just want to start with two simple words. Justin Bieber.”
In the next clip he states:
“Hey! You mind if I give you some more info on this new song and video that’s coming out this week? Okay, well you guys like Sia? What about Ed Sheeran? Or what about Leonardo DiCaprio?”
Lil Dicky later posted a teaser including names of contributors Ariana Grande, Halsey, Zac Brown, Brendon Urie, Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Sia, Hailee Steinfeld, Lil Jon, Rita Ora, Miguel, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meghan Trainor, Joel Embid, Tory Lanez, John Legend, Bad Bunny, Psy, Kris Wu, Cashmere Cat, Backstreet Boys, Benny Blanco, and Lil Yachty. There’s no telling where the effort may wind up, but with a roster like this it would only make sense a new project is on the way.
LD, real name David Burd dropped his debut album Professional Rapper in 2015. He followed with an EP under his alter-ego Brain in 2017.
