The ‘Ɔkofoɔ’ manufactured by the Kantanka Automobiles Company Limited has been spotted taken a ride on the streets of Accra. Upon seeing the car, people nearby took the pain to take photos of it to post online but little did they know it would get netizens talking.
Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo launched the 1st ever pickup armored car for Ghana earlier this year 2020 to be used by security services across the country. The car appears to be fitted with inbuild missile launcher and it has bulletproof windows and doors as well.
Speaking at the exhibition where the Ɔkofoɔ was launched, the vice president of the Republic of Ghana H.E. Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia eulogized the founder of Kantanka, Apostle Safo, for attaining such feat in technology — which enables him to produce high-tech cars.
Upon its launch, the question that came to hand is will the Ghanaian citizens be able to afford? – the question seems to have been answered as it was recently seen on the streets of Accra.
