Kwesta woke this Friday morning to see himself trend on social media, but it’s not of a good reason.
The rap star trended after his “manger” Nosta Baloyi with the Twitter account name @lavidoNOTA trashed Cassper Nyovest ft Zola 7 & Nasty C’s new singles.
Upon thrashing these songs, social media users decided to cancel Kwesta.
The rapper realized this, and came on Twitter to clear the air on his relationship with Nosta.
Kwesta says he played a crucial role in his career and they indeed worked together, but they’ve parted ways very long time ago.
“Ekse.. I need everyone to know that @lavidanota and I no longer work together and haven’t been for a while now. To those that have been calling me trying to reach him, please contact him directly and to those that have been calling him to reach me, please do the same. Ta,” Kwesta said.
He further urged people to reach him directly and not reach out to him concerning anything related to Nota.
“We did many great things together. @lavidaNOTA played a very CRUCIAL role in my career. I just don’t want to speak on his behalf and on things only he has the answers to. I also want future communication routes to be clear. That’s respect.”
